This course is about the role of the consultant and the behaviours, skills and attributes required. This covers different types of organisational structures for consulting practices/departments , the role of the consultant, the emerging trends and challenges facing the consulting industry, the demand for consultants changes in different economic climate, the competencies required of a consultant change at different stages of their career, existing competencies, knowledge and behaviours against the Consultancy Competency Framework (CCF), the completion of Personal Development Plan (PDP) activities contributes to changes in the competence knowledge and behaviours as a consultant, the professional behaviours required of a consultant, ethical dilemmas that may arise in the course of the work of a consultant, and the duty of care owed by a consultant to a client.
